Macro at Corkscrew

Greetings from southwest Florida,
This week’s images are from yesterday at my macro workshop at Corkscrew Swamp sanctuary. It was a great time with 11 participants, and besides all the animals I brought, we had the opportunity to photograph a baby alligator courtesy of Sally Stein, Director of programs at Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary. Several of you have shared some of your images you took yesterday at the workshop and it looks like there are a lot of potential contest winners out there! Great job!  I also want to thank all the folks who came out Fridayevening from the Fort Myers camera club for my macro presentation. We had a great time and great food. Looking ahead, I will be at Del Ray Beach camera club hosting a macro workshop, and the Englewood Camera Club this coming week. So I’m looking forward to seeing everyone there. I have attached a couple of links below for some other upcoming workshops, one with Canon and the other at the St Augustine Birding Festival. Also, my good friends at Hunts photo and Video are giving great discounts on macro gear in support of my workshops – items like the Light Bender and Ray Flash by Expo Imaging. Many of you have tried these out at the workshops with fantastic results. So take advantage of these great deals.
I hope you like this week’s photos.
Have a blessed week.
